Hydrogen and methane monitoring help in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal disorders. An O2 reading is taken to encourage patients to provide an end-tidal sample. If the sample is insufficient the GastroCH4ECK® will automatically correct the reading saving the patient from embarrassment and eliminating the need to repeat the test.
